Work with me
Let’s determine the right starting point.
This is a 30-minute conversation, not a sales pitch. If there is a fit, you will receive a written scope and proposal within five business days.
What to expect
Three steps. No pressure.
Describe the problem
Share the controls, compliance, or AI-adoption challenge and the milestone creating pressure.
Test the fit
I will tell you whether Bricks can help and the smallest useful way to start.
Review the scope
If there is a fit, you receive the deliverables, timeline, fixed fee, and exclusions in writing.
Engagement options
Know the investment range before the call.
These ranges help buyers self-qualify. They are not a quote; the fee is fixed after the scope is understood.
Working Session$300
A 90-minute one-on-one session on a single SOX or AI question. Booked and paid through a separate working-session event—no proposal required.
Diagnostic$5,000
A focused 3–4 week assessment of one area. Includes a written findings memo, prioritized roadmap, and recommendation on whether a larger engagement is warranted.
Credit: The diagnostic fee is credited toward a larger engagement if that engagement begins within six months of the diagnostic.
AI Operating Day$10,000–$12,000
An intensive on-site or remote day: workflow assessment, one live AI-assisted build, and a documented handoff for the team.
Sprint$40,000
A 30-day engagement for a bounded problem: remediate a defined set of findings, design a new controls process, or build one team workflow.
Cannabis Controls Readiness$40,000–$75,000
A cannabis-specific readiness engagement covering inventory and COGS, cash, 280E-aware documentation, systems, and audit-ready evidence.
Full Engagement$75,000–$100,000
A 90-day advisory engagement for program design, remediation, and handoff across a broader process, entity, or readiness scope.
How to think about the numbers
Entity count, control maturity, timeline pressure, systems, and the amount of rebuild versus targeted remediation drive the fee. If a larger engagement is not warranted, you will hear that directly.
Frequently asked questions
Know what the relationship looks like before you book.
Why a solo advisor instead of a firm?
Direct access to the person who does the work. No pyramid, no junior handoff. Right-sized teams—I bring in vetted specialists only when the work needs it.
What happens if you’re unavailable?
Engagements are scheduled with continuity in mind. For planned absences, a vetted SOX-trained colleague covers. No bench warming, no warm bodies.
How do you handle independence vs. our external auditor?
Advisory services only—no attest, no testing execution, no opinions. Clean separation from your external auditor’s scope.
What does the first 30 days look like?
Discovery call → scoped proposal within five business days → kickoff within two weeks. The first 30 days focus on scoping, walkthroughs, and a written roadmap.
What does this not include?
No attestations, no testing execution, no audit opinions. Advisory and implementation only.
Not for everyone
If you need a 20-person co-source team, attest services, or an audit opinion, I’m not your fit.
I’ll tell you that on the discovery call. I work with teams that want senior-level advisory and implementation, not a pyramid.
